S012 - Cattails - 6.5" x 6.5"

Cattails are associated with water and rain.  We love to watch them grow in early spring from small spikes to towering impressive heights by late summer.   Their brown velvet elongated caps are surrounded by turning gold leaf spikes.  They are the guardians of the peepers (frogs), the waterfowl of deer, Canada goose, and others.   They hide the trails that make up this mecca for wildlife next to us.

Item is whip stitched on the back with embroidery thread.   The rug could be removed from the frame (simply find the staples and carefully pull them out with a pair of needle nose plyers.  Avoid pulling any of the yarns/wools at the same time.
