Pugwash has a double lobster season.  The boats get set in late May initially in this area as well as in neighboring communities up and down the Northumberland Strait.  Brave are the men and women who don their gear and head out to the waters sun or shine for the seasons are short and dependent on the gifts of nature from below.

Item is whip stitched on the back with embroidery thread.   The rug could be removed from the frame (simply find the staples and carefully pull them out with a pair of needle nose plyers.  Avoid pulling any of the yarns/wools at the same time.
