Spiritually it means fertility and new life which for two-century old garden areas is important.  Some say they are termed "weeping willow" for the way the rain runs down its branches giving the appearance of the crying tree.

Good friends gave us willows to plant decades ago.  Now they stand, grown together, in our front yard with long waving branches that quiver in the sunlight and glisten after the rain.  A favorite for the local woodpeckers (and the porcupine), the local rabbit also likes to stand on hind paws and eat the tender buds.    

Shipping:  please note we are unable to ship this size of product and the wooden frame to the USA if framed.  If you only wish to have the rug piece without the frame, please email us and we can advise of the reduced pricing due to this.
